Vision & Mission
Our Intention
The European Network for Dialogue Facilitation (ENDF) emerged from the multilateral project “DIALOGUE – Facilitating Creative Communication”, which trained dialogue facilitators from different European countries based on the approach of David Bohm and others.
The ENDF promotes dialogical skills, respectful communication and appreciation of diversity in different professional and social contexts. A particular focus is on intercultural and interreligious dialogue as a means of mutual learning and cooperation.
The network brings together certified dialogue facilitators, trainers and researchers from 10 countries. Its main goals are transnational cooperation, knowledge exchange and the development of joint projects.
An international board coordinates activities including:
- training and further education for dialogue facilitators and trainers
- research and quality development
- certification and ethical standards
- seminars, workshops, conferences and summer academies
- development of European cooperation projects
Through these activities, the ENDF seeks to strengthen a culture of dialogue and constructive communication across Europe and to expand the community of qualified dialogue facilitators.
